I’ve always believed that some places stay with you long after you leave them. Egypt’s Western Desert is one of those places. This video captures our return to what I can only describe as Egypt’s Hidden Paradise — the otherworldly landscapes of the White Desert and the quiet, palm-lined calm of the Bahariya Oasis. This wasn’t just another destination for us. We had traveled here before, back in March 2020, before the world shut down, and we were left scrambling for a flight home.
